During the project we will give young scientists from the developing world the opportunity to be trained in Infectious Disease and Vaccine Development (IDVD). The IDVD program is an integral component of this project. The participating institutions select and train students and young scientists from developing countries. The program participants will be involved both in ongoing research activities of the project and participate, where possible, in ongoing international PhD training programs.
The IDVD-program targets the scientific interface between of infectious diseases, epidemiology, microbiology, immunology, and vaccinology as it relates to the project. The combined training opportunities in experimental and clinical infection biology and vaccinology a fake rolex of the HZI/MHH, the Institut Pasteur, the Necker Hospital, the Rockefeller University and the University of Amsterdam will be extremely attractive for young scientists. Applicants will be selected on a competitive basis.
Students and young scientist willing to participate in the training have to complete the application form and will be contacted after an initial evaluation.
